1. Information we collect
Account information such as your name, company, email address, telephone number, billing address and login details.
Transaction and billing records associated with orders, invoices, refunds and payment status. Complete card details are normally handled by the selected payment processor rather than stored directly by Prixhost.
Technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, access logs, service usage, resource consumption and security events.
Support communications, migration details, files or information you voluntarily provide when requesting technical assistance.
Cookie and analytics information used to maintain sessions, remember preferences, detect abuse and understand website performance.
2. How we use information
To create and administer accounts, process orders, provide hosting, domain, email and server services, and deliver customer support.
To secure accounts and infrastructure, detect fraud, investigate abuse, prevent spam and respond to security incidents.
To send invoices, renewal notices, service alerts, maintenance information and other operational communications.
To improve our website, control panels, service reliability, product design and customer experience.
To comply with lawful requests, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention and other applicable legal obligations.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
Essential cookies may be used to keep users signed in, remember preferences, protect forms and maintain shopping-cart or checkout sessions.
Analytics cookies may be used to understand traffic and improve pages. Where legally required, non-essential cookies should be activated only after consent.
Browser settings can be used to block or delete cookies, although some account and checkout functions may then stop working correctly.
4. Service providers and disclosures
Prixhost may use trusted providers for payments, domain registration, data centres, email delivery, customer support, analytics, fraud prevention and infrastructure monitoring.
Information is shared only when reasonably necessary for those providers to perform their contracted services.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, court order, valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect Prixhost, customers, users or the public from harm or abuse.
If Prixhost undergoes a merger, acquisition, restructuring or asset transfer, relevant information may be transferred subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
5. Data retention
Account and billing records may be retained for as long as an account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, tax, fraud-prevention and dispute-resolution requirements.
Technical logs and security records may be retained for periods appropriate to infrastructure protection, incident investigation and service reliability.
Backup copies may remain for a limited period after deletion until normal backup rotation completes.
6. Security
Prixhost uses reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, loss or disclosure.
No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Customers are responsible for protecting account credentials, using strong passwords and enabling available security controls.
Suspected account compromise should be reported immediately to the Prixhost support team.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of or a copy of eligible personal information.
Marketing messages may be disabled using the unsubscribe option where available. Essential billing, security and service notices may still be sent.
Requests may be subject to identity verification and lawful retention requirements.
8. International processing
Hosting and support services may involve infrastructure or service providers in more than one country.
Where required, Prixhost should use appropriate contractual and technical safeguards for international transfers.
9. Children
Prixhost services are intended for customers who can lawfully enter into a service agreement. The services are not directed to young children.
If information is believed to have been submitted by a child without appropriate authorisation, contact Prixhost so the matter can be reviewed.
10. Policy changes and contact
This policy may be updated when services, legal requirements or business practices change. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised update date.
